Netgear Orbi RBK352 Router Setup in Home

You have to connect the router to the modem and then sync the Orbi satellites with the router to start the RBK352 router setup.

Connect Router First

Place the router node near to the modem. Plug in the cable to the router WAN port and modem LAN port. Then simply turn on the router and modem.

After connecting the router to modem via cable, you must sync the satellites using these below written steps.

Power them on in your home on the desired positions. Then, press the sync button for once on the router and within two minutes press the same button on the satellites.

Note: You can also connect them via Ethernet backhaul method in which you have to use the Ethernet cable.

The setup is not completed yet, you have to configure the RBK352 router to finish it.

RBK352 Router Login/Configuration

There are two ways to log in to the interface; one is via Orbi app (most used) and other is Orbi admin login using computer.

Through Orbi

Download the Netgear Orbi app in your phone through Play Store or App Store. Then connect the phone to the Orbi network and open the app to access its dashboard. To access, you have to enter the Username and password in the given fields on screen.

Through URL

There is another way to configure the mesh system which is through the computer or laptop.
Connect your computer to the Orbi network via LAN cable or SSID details.
After that start your computer and open the web browser, which should be updated.
Type the URL orbilogin.net or IP address 192.168.1.1, press the Enter from your keyboard.
You will get to the interface page, where you must fill the admin credentials.

Note: You will find the admin credentials on the label or in the user manual of the Orbi mesh router

Now, you can access the interface and you can easily adjust the settings and finish the RBK352 router configuration.

RBK352 Update and Password

Orbi firmware updates can be done from the interface window which you can access through the computer or laptop. First, access the interface> second, go in to the settings> third, open the Firmware tab> click on the UPDATE button.

Changing the Orbi WiFi password is one of the easiest tasks for you. To change, just access the interface or Orbi app. Go to the Wireless settings and click on the Networks. Here, enter the new password and SAVE it.

Restart and Reset Devices

Press the power button to turn Orbi device off.
Press the button again to wake it up.
This action will reboot the device.

Reset

To reset, press and hold the RESET button on the device.
After some minutes the reset process will be done.
