Step 1: Turn Off WiFi on Verizon Router?

• Plug in the Verizon router and connect your PC to its network.
• On a browser, visit 192.168.1.1.
• Log in using the Verizon router’s login username and password.
• Once you are logged in, go to Quick Link in the left panel.
• Now, choose Change Wireless Settings.
• Turn the wireless off using the button.
• See that the WiFi LED on the router is turned off.

Step 2: Set Up Orbi Router

You will need the Orbi app to access Orbi router login page to complete the mesh system installation. If you haven’t installed it yet, then download the app and let it install on your phone.

• Power off the Verizon Fios router for some time.
• Take an Ethernet cable and using it, connect the LAN port of the Verizon router to yellow port on the Orbi router.

• Observe the Ring light on the router. It should turn solid white and then pulse white. When the light turns off, it is ready to be set up.
• In case you want to set up Orbi satellite, then plug it and let it sync to the router.
• Now, connect your phone to the Orbi’s WiFi network. You can check the default SSID and WiFi password of Orbi on its label.
• Run the Orbi app.
• Tap on New System Setup.
• Create WiFi network by creating WiFi name and password.
• The Orbi will disconnect and connect back with the new SSID.
• Now, create an admin password for Orbi login. The username will be admin.
• Save the settings and you’re done with setting up your Orbi router.

• On your phone or PC that is connected to the Orbi’s network, visit orbilogin.com.
• Use the newly created Orbi admin login password and log in.

• Click or tap Apply button and save the changes.
